iRiver Story HD launches a new e-book reader in the U.S. market where the Ebook reader products from this Korean company becomes the first device that is fully integrated with Google's eBook platform which is currently offering more than three million ebook free of charge and additional thousands of eBook titles sold commercially.
iRiver Story HD features a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 × 768 px with e-ink display technology that offers 63.8 percent more pixels than many other e-reader, QWERTY keyboard, SD card slot, and USB 2.0 connectors. EBook Reader is supported by the chipset Cortex A8. E-reader also has a sleek and stylish form of curves with two-tone color on the front and rear.
IRiver Story HD weighs only 0.2 kg, making it one of the lightest ebook reader in its class. The internal battery allows the user to read to 14,000 pages in a non-glare screen mode was, and the battery can keep the device in standby mode for up to six weeks, all from a single charge.
