The Nissan Frontier is a rare truck, one that's part of a dying breed. There are not many small-sized pickup trucks are capable of doing That actual hauling and dirty work. And as its capable of doing tough work on the highway or off-road, the Frontier is most definitely worth a serious look by consumers.

The S and SV 4-cylinder King Cab models have a QR25DE 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with 152 horsepower at 5.200 rpm and 171 pounds per foot of torque per 4.400 rpm. As well, all models come with a continuously variable valve timing control system (CVTCS) on the intake valves, a variable intake system, a Nissan direct ignition system, platinum-tipped spark plugs, and electronic drive-by-wire throttle. The 2011 Frontier has a 21.1 gal fuel tank and a fuel efficiency of 19 mpg in the city, 23 mpg on the highway, and 21 mpg combined, with a vehicle range of 444 miles.

It Might be small but the Frontier is distinctive thanks to its large grille, fenders and oversized geometric bumpers. Depending on the model, the 2011 Nissan Frontier comes either with a 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission with some having the option of an automatic transmission. The exceptions to this are the PRO-4X Crew Cab models and SL the which come with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
